1Who we are

The Farooj Republic website is run by Elaf Food Co, the company that operates Farooj Republic restaurants in the State of Kuwait (“we”, “us”, “our”). For any privacy question, email Info@elaf-food.com or call 1889090.

2Information you give us

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through the forms on this site:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message.
• Franchise application: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, city and nationality; business background and experience; the country, city and type of location you are interested in; your estimated investment range; anything you tell us about your project; and your agreement to be contacted.
• With each form we also record which language version of the site you used.

Please don't send sensitive information (such as ID, bank or card details) through these forms. We never ask for it here.

3Information collected automatically

• Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and how often people tap Order Now, Call, WhatsApp or Directions. Google Analytics uses cookies (named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) and collects information about your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. Google's use of this data is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Security and spam protection: when you send a form, our server keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with the time of sending for up to one hour, only to limit repeated or automated submissions.
• Server logs: like every website, our hosting server records basic technical information (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
• Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page opens.

4How we use your information

• To reply to your message or question.
• To review and follow up on franchise applications.
• To improve the website and understand which content and links are useful.
• To protect the site against spam, abuse and attacks.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use form submissions for marketing messages unless you ask us to.

5Who we share it with

Form submissions are delivered by email to our own mailboxes and are seen only by the Farooj Republic team that handles them. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the site, such as our web hosting and email provider and Google (for analytics and fonts).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

6Ordering and other websites

Online orders are placed on our ordering site fr.com.kw or through delivery apps. Those services collect the details needed for your order (such as your address and payment) under their own privacy policies, not this one.

This site also links to other websites, including our links page, social media, Google Maps, our chicken supplier, Al Arabi Sporting Club and our corporate partners. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information.

7How long we keep it

• Contact messages: for as long as needed to deal with your request, and no longer than two years.
• Franchise applications: for as long as needed to assess the application and follow up, and no longer than three years, unless we enter into an agreement with you.
• Hashed IP addresses used for spam protection: up to one hour.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.

8Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw your agreement to be contacted at any time. Email Info@elaf-food.com and we will reply within 30 days.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site keeps working without them.

9Keeping information safe

The site is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection, our forms accept only the fields listed above, and access to form emails is limited to the team that needs them. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10Children

This website is for a general audience. Our forms are meant for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
